TOMORROW! Saturday, November 8 • 11am-3pm at Deschutes County Fairgrounds
The 10th Annual Central Oregon Fill Your Pantry is a community bulk-buying farmers market created so YOU can fill up your pantry, freezer, and root cellar with great local products for the winter. Say bye-bye to busy holiday lines and produce that has traveled farther than you during holiday vacations, and say hello to a kitchen full of local meats, grains, vegetables, ferments, and more.
The Central Oregon Fill Your Pantry will allow you to stock up on items like potatoes, onions, leeks, beets, winter squash, garlic, honey, flours, apples, pears, dried beans, krauts, baked goods, and more.
This is a bulk-focused farmers market, so bring your muscles! Farmers, ranchers, orchardists, and producers will be selling large quantities of items. For example, 20lb bags of onions, 50lb bags of potatoes, 25lb boxes of ground beef, etc. This is a great opportunity for vendors to move product before the harsh Central Oregon winter and a great opportunity for you to save money and eat well all winter long.

Summit Theatre Company and Bend Senior High Theatre present Head Over Heels: High School Version at the Summit HS Auditorium
Summit High School and Bend Senior High School unite for their first-ever joint production with Head Over Heels, the irresistible jukebox musical set to the chart-topping hits of The Go-Go’s. Inspired by Philip Sidney’s The Countess of Pembroke’s Arcadia, the show follows the royal court of Arcadia after a prophecy from the Oracle of Delphi warns that the kingdom will lose its “Beat,” the life force that sustains its prosperity. Determined to outwit fate, King Basilius leads the court on a wild journey through the woods where mistaken identities, unexpected romance, and gender-expansive disguises turn tradition on its head. The result is a vibrant celebration of authenticity, acceptance, and love.
Featuring high-energy vocals, a live rock band, and Ancient Greece-meets-the-1980s design, this production invites audiences to groove along to iconic songs including “We Got the Beat,” “Our Lips Are Sealed,” “Vacation,” Belinda Carlisle’s “Heaven Is a Place on Earth,” and “Mad About You.”
Head Over Heels is directed by Lara Okamoto, co-directed by Madeline Schreiber, with music direction by Angelina Anello-Dennee and choreography by Emily Tompkins. The live band is directed by Cooper Ottum.
