Welcome to the Human Club!
This is a free "book club" that centers connections among authentic, vulnerable, busy humans. We'll connect every few months to discuss a quality publication that will support and inform how we co-create our community.
These gatherings are an invitation to gather, learn and grow. These are come-as-you-are, no-shame style discussions. You're welcome to come listen, contribute, ask questions, offer different points of view; it's all welcome.
What is important is the intentionally shared time together; the book provides our framework and content, but we'll pull from a wide range of resources and experiences for sharing.
Our discussions will allow us time to go deeper, connect the content with what's going on for us as individuals and as a community; both locally and globally.
Please reach out if you would like to bring a Human Club gathering to your community (school, neighborhood, staff meeting, professional group).
Co-creating events like these with other community members is part of what makes them so authentic and meaningful.

Together, we have an opportunity to reimagine learning environments that honor every student’s pathway—and support the teachers, staff, and leaders who help them grow. Let’s create something more inclusive, responsive, and ....Human.
The book Neurodiversity-Affirming Schools by Emily Kirchner Morris and Amanda Morin is a timely and powerful resource. We'll be using it as the foundation for this month's Human Club…with books; a gathering focused on shared learning, authentic communication and mutual support.
Human Club offers a safe, inclusive space to reflect, connect, and grow. Through this book, we explore current understanding of brains and behavior, our collective and individual experiences; sharing insights and learning in community.
Facilitated by Interconnected Diversity, Human Club supports participants in deepening their understanding of lived experiences, stepping back to reappraise long-held assumptions, and rethinking how we support human needs, a sense of belonging and a healthy community.
